Jess Crabtree
Stage Manager &
Props Supervisor
I’m a Freelance Stage Manager and Props Supervisor with a love for helping shows come to life. Over the past four years, I’ve worked on touring, fringe, and musical productions, developing a strong sense for intuitive show calling, creative problem-solving, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. I trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) on their Theatre and Performance Technology course, which gave me a solid foundation in stage management and technical production. I’m particularly passionate about new writing and enjoy crafting props that feel authentic to their world, whether that means period detail, clever solutions, or playful touches that bring a story to life.
Creating supportive and encouraging rehearsal and performance spaces is at the heart of my approach - I aim to make every production environment one where artists can do their best work, feel confident, and thrive. Colleagues describe me as dependable, organised, and observant - a positive presence who notices the details that make a show succeed while letting the magic happen on stage.
I'm always looking to hear about new, exciting projects - get in touch with me below to get the ball rolling!
